Drop 3110 chair designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen

Drop 3110 chair designed in 1958 by Arne Jacobsen and manufactured by Fritz Hansen.

The chair, along with the Egg Chair and Swan Chair, was designed as part of the famous overall design for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. Unlike the Egg Chair and Swan Chair, however, the Drop was not put into production for the general market. It wasn't until 2014 that the design was relaunched by Fritz Hansen. However, this red version is no longer in production.

The chair consists of an ABS plastic shell with powder-coated steel legs.

The chair is marked with a print in the plastic and the original Fritz Hansen sticker (see photo). It is in very good condition with hardly any signs of wear.
